About me

Music has always fascinated me. It started self-taught with toy keyboards, then formally clarinet in Middle school. I marched in High School band, and learned to play bass and guitar after I graduated High School. I've played in several local bands, and recorded an album with Shinebox Live. Some of my closest friendships are from music experiences over the years. I mix and produce songs from time to time, and have connections with many active local Tampa Bay musicians. I married a talented singer and musician, and we have shared a lifelong love of music ever since.

I am equally passionate about technology and programming. I wrote simple video games in middle school, and started programming in earnest in High School. I spent time in Tech Support at Peachtree Software in Atlanta, then moved to the development team for Peachtree Complete Accounting. I then began an active career as an independent software development consultant. Eventually I took a position in Tampa at ComCept Solutions, where I led the development and revitalization of their flagship product, ComCept.Net. I now manage the development of all technology solutions at ComCept, and support customer and vendor relationships.

Photography snuck up on me. The technology behind it is fun, but the expressiveness in capturing interesting perspectives is what I enjoy the most. I have started travelling internationally with my amazing wife, so capturing the beauty of far-away places has quickly become a favorite pastime.
